Info Session – Metham Sodium Treated Gravel (Dieback-free BRM)

In late 2024, DWG Inc. secured a $2.4 M Australian Government Saving Native Species Threat Innovation grant to research, trial and promote the application of an innovative soil-fumigation methodology for basic raw materials (BRM) to mitigate the spread of Phytophthora cinnamomi.
Results from a large-scale trial recently completed in 2025 have demonstrated that this is an exciting new “Dieback mitigation tool”. These 2025 results strongly align with trial results from the proof- of-concept work conducted in 2019.
We would like to invite you and any of your colleagues to attend our information session on this innovation and how it can benefit bushland reserves, conservation on local government-managed lands and industry.
